📖 Weldr Bot Commands & Usage

Welcome to the Weldr Bot documentation! Here you can find all available Telegram bot commands and how to use them for raiding Farcaster casts.

🚀 Getting Started

• /start – Shows the welcome message and quick start guide.
• /help – Lists all available commands and usage tips.
• /connect – Connect your Farcaster account to the bot for posting and raids.
• /disconnect – Disconnect your Farcaster account from the bot.

👤 Profile & Information

• /profile <username_or_url> – Get detailed Farcaster profile information.
  Examples:
  /profile superhotfire
/profile https://farcaster.xyz/superhotfire

📤 Posting Casts

Text-Only Casts

Simply use the cast command with your message:

/cast Your message here

Casts with Images

Important: Follow this exact process for image casts:

1. Send your image to the chat first (just the image, no command).
2. Reply to your image with /cast Your message here.

Note: You cannot attach a photo directly to the /cast command. Always reply to an image with your cast command to include both text and image in your Farcaster post.

🎯 Raid Management

Starting a Raid

Start a raid by pasting any Farcaster cast URL:

/weld https://farcaster.xyz/superhotfire/0xdf450e1e

Supported URLs:

• farcaster.xyz cast links
• Direct cast hashes

Active Raid Commands

• /viewwelds – View all active raids, targets, and time remaining.
• /stopweld – Stop the current active raid and show confirmation. If there's a queued raid, it will automatically start.
• /skipweld – Skip the current raid and seamlessly move to the next queued raid (requires both active and queued raids).
• /nextweld <cast_url> – Queue the next raid target with interactive setup.
  Example: /nextweld https://farcaster.xyz/user/0x123abc

Raid Queue System

Weldr Bot supports a powerful queue system for continuous raiding:

• Queue Setup: Use /nextweld to add raids to the queue with custom targets
• Auto-Start: When you /stopweld, the next queued raid automatically begins
• Seamless Skip: Use /skipweld to instantly move to the next raid without stopping messages
• Target Presets: Set likes, recasts, and reply targets for queued raids in advance

Raid Customization

After starting a raid, use the interactive buttons to customize:

⏱️ Time Duration Options:

• 5 minutes
• 30 minutes
• 1 hour (Default)
• 2 hours
• 24 hours

🎯 Target Settings:

• Likes Target: Set how many likes to aim for
• Recasts Target: Set how many recasts to aim for
• Replies Target: Set how many replies to aim for

🎬 Raid Actions:

• ❤️ Like: Community members like the cast
• 🔄 Recast: Community members recast the post
• 💬 Reply: Community members reply to the cast
• 🎯 All Actions: Combination of likes, recasts, and replies

🔧 Interactive Features

Raid Participation

When a raid is active, community members can participate using inline buttons:

• ❤️ Like Button: Instantly like the target cast
• 🔄 Recast Button: Instantly recast the target post
• 💬 Reply Button: Opens reply interface to comment on the cast

Real-Time Progress

Raid messages automatically update to show:

• Current progress vs targets
• Time remaining
• Participation count
• Completion status
• Fresh status updates every minute to keep raids visible

⚙️ Admin Features

Note: Some commands require admin permissions in the group.

• Starting and stopping raids
• Setting raid targets and duration
• Managing the raid queue
• Viewing detailed raid statistics
• Skipping raids seamlessly

🧹 Clean Chat Experience

Weldr Bot automatically manages message cleanup for a clean chat:

• User Commands: Deleted immediately after processing
• Confirmations: Auto-deleted after 60 seconds
• Error Messages: Auto-deleted after 30 seconds
• Help/Info: Auto-deleted after 60-120 seconds
• Live Raid Status: Never deleted (stays visible for participation)

❌ Common Issues & Solutions

Cast Posting Issues

• Image not appearing: Make sure to reply to the image with /cast, don't attach directly
• Cast failed: Check your Farcaster connection with /connect
• Permission denied: Ensure you're connected to Farcaster

Raid Issues

• Invalid cast URL: Use farcaster.xyz links
• Raid not starting: Ensure you have admin permissions
• Buttons not working: Check your Farcaster account connection
• Queue not working: Make sure to use /nextweld before /stopweld or /skipweld

Connection Issues

• Can't connect: Visit the connection link in a desktop browser
• Connection expired: Use /disconnect then /connect to refresh
• Features not working: Verify connection status with /connect

• Set realistic raid targets based on your community size
• Use longer durations (2-24h) for better participation
• Queue multiple raids with /nextweld for continuous activity
